Northern California Meet Up/Chicken Swap - Sunday October 10th!

Jeremy, the sale page looks great!

I hope someone takes these cockerels--they're staying with me until they find a home even if that takes a long, long time, but I just have too many and it would be so nice if they could find a home soon. They're such pretty boys! Much prettier in real life than they look in the pictures I provided.

Cheryl, I'll bring a Flock Raiser bag if my birds finish it off before the event, which I think I most likely will.

I'm also probably going to be selling a few hens that are close to laying - they will be 5 1/2 months at party time!

I have an Australorp, Speckled Sussex and a Welsummer. Just making room for what's in the incubator!

Let me know if you are interested

Might anyone be interested in carpooling from the Peninsula? I'd love a ride and will pay for gas and go by your schedule. If so, please pm or email me. I can drive to meet you at your place.
Thanks s much.

My speckled sussex is $25, that's what pullets close to laying age are running around here. My two other sussex - 7 mths (not as nicely speckled but so amazingly friendly- almost the best in the flock) lay really well brown eggs - let me know if you are interested and I will hold her for you....I'll get a picture of her for you...I was just snuggling her before I came in

I will really try and come since we are practically neighbors and it would be nice to meet other owners in the area. Not many in our neck of the woods!

Woot Woot Woot! Can't wait for next weekend. I just added a few cockerels to the spreadsheet - buff brahma (who turned into a boy while I was out of the country last week!), and partridge cockerel, who is still transforming from a hen, but the signs are there... Both are 5 1/2 months old, gentle, used to people. pm me for pics or more info, and I'll see you all on the 10th!

Sorry about the buff brahma I gave you, but he turned out to be GORGEOUS, they are so so soft! I just hatched one for you, hopefully another will pip today! Glad you're back!
