If you are planning to have a show, swap,etc concerning poultry then you need to get a permit from the state. They also require a poultry tester or Dept. of Ag. person to be on hand. Feel free to email me [email protected] if you need the form to fill out for the permit. It is required 21 days before the event.
 
I can forward you a copy of the form to fill out. It is free but you need to get the permit in order to host a swap meet or poultry show. I wasn't aware of it until last Oct. and when I inquired about it I found that anyone including 4-H needs this permit. All of the Poultry Shows in GA were not aware of it. I'll be happy to discuss this over the phone or through email.
