I work with a guy who fishes nonstop. He brought me 15 BIG crappie today. My and DH just got done gutting and cleaning them. I'm going to fry some tonight and freeze the rest. Can't beat free supper!!!

Hey let me ask y'all this. Do you fillet your crappie then fry or do you fry the whole fish? I've had both.

YUM!!! I didn't get to catch any Crappie this year... at least not yet. Fishing for them in the spring is the best here near me.

I am a girl that fishes non stop lol.
Crappie is the first fish I go for in the spring, you can't beat the taste of fresh caught crappie.
