Hi all!
Got two day old yellow chicks from the feed store last year. They were labelled as cream legbars but that is definitely not what I got. Any one have any guesses what I actually got?
One is a roo, he’s super friendly and chill and a little on the larger size. He is white with light buff neck/saddle/tail feathers and just a scattering of dark brown/black feathers in his tail/chest.
The hen is all white, but not as white as my all white Plymouth. She is on the smaller side, skittish, and an escape artist. She lays light brown, even-colored eggs.
Thank you!

Cream Legbars look like chipmunks as chick's. I don't know which breeds you did buy. I'm not good with white chicken breeds.

Interesting! I’m hatching out some barnyard mix chicks and my mystery roo X with an Easter egger gave me a chipmunk!

There are many breeds that look like chipmunks. But a CCL would not be yellow. Here's a photo of mine
Would you say this one is a cream legbar? It is about 22 weeks now.

These are mine. I see a difference. Different parentage or perhaps a mixed breed. I got my first blue egg yesterday.
