We do have ducks, but we came home to our 6 month old Delaware chicken drowned in our duck pool. We have no idea what happened, the pool had a ramp and was also brimming with water, right up to the rims. It was very cold though, and I had removed the stones we had had in there becuz the ducks never used them. My son is devastated as am I. Ghost was the best....out first layer, our chicken clown, the first to be spotted cuz she was so white and the first to greet us at all times.....Our ducks were freaking out about her...... RIP Ghost

I am so sorry. My frizzle drowned last summer in the kiddy pool, as well. It was so sad and I felt so guilty. Their feathers act like sponges and they cant get out.
