FractalFarmer: the bird you posted is a light brahma, not a cochin. They are two different breeds, you cannot have a brahma cochin. She is beautiful by the way! I LOVE brahmas almost as much as cochins. You've done a great job with her.

Here is Dudley and petunia both brown/red cochin bantams both are very sweet

this is ms fancypants she is a red frizzle cochin bantam almost 4 months old

Bing is a silver laced cochin bantam and loves to be cuddled, she also loves eyeballs

Crash thw white cochin bantam, he lost the spikes on his comb last winter. He is a very mean rooster but only to humans, he attacks me on a daily basis so when he does i pick him up and kiss and hug him which doesn't make him very happy lol

Lacy lou my cuckoo cochin bantam, she is the flock bully

Rory aka monkey is my black cochin bantam who is currently broody and setting on 8 eggs, this is her first time getting to hatch chicks, I am excited to see what a good mother she will be. She has no comb left due to lacy lou dubbing her the hard way

This is our blue bantam, Betty Bloomers. She is a favorite among the girls that do not roost at night. They all scoot up right next to her feathery blanket!

Hiya scratchn by rusty is gorgeous!!! My brown/red cochin still has a black face, even the comb is blackish but yet she has been laying for a few months now so i believe its normal but i'm not positive

Thanks ChickenAddict! Rusty is such a great little roo. When he crows it's the funniest thing. When done, he sounds like an accordion inhaling. You know the sound. Whatcha think he might be? All my cochins are red faced, except for LB's??
