Not again 😣

Keeping her in tonight for monitoring
She seems fine. But she hasn't laid today so incase she has trouble overnight.... I want her close by.

I have the baby monitor on them so I can wake up a few times and and just check they look okay. I'll check in person once more before I go to bed.
I want to make sure she's okay

I actually don't put the calcium citrate over the oyster shells.

I put the calcium citrate pills that I smash up over their food if I don't know which duck has the problem. If I do know which duck it is, I'll give that duck a special treat like watermelon or tomatoes with the pill sprinkled over it.
sorry I thought you said over your oyster shell.

@BelovedBirds if you can find one of these to put on the end of a syringe it really helps to get the meds down into the crop. Maybe look online where they sell products for feeding wild baby animals. This is a US company but they may ship to the UK https://www.squirrelsandmore.com/

Well, they're both super happy and active and hungry this morning
One egg, looks like a Dougie egg and it was laid after 5 am as usual for her. So no egg from Sprightly yet... just gave her as much calcium as I could, almost 3 tsp, but she didn't finish it all. I'd say she got 2. I may go out in a little bit when she's hungry again to give her a little more.
But she is behaving normally so perhaps this is a well deserved little break.... we'll see.
