Not again 😣

Pics
Another egg today, mostly good shell
I'm going to go ahead and halve the dose, but I'll keep a very close eye on her

She's been extra fluffy, extra loud, so I'm thinking more progress on the broody note
Also she kicked poor Dougie out of the nest so she had to lay elsewhere lol
The eggs were warm again this morning, and covered with some hay, so she's paying close attention to them now it seems

:thumbsup Love to hear good news. Well, Dougie now needs a nest of her own. lol
I'm going to toss one of her eggs into the other nest box, she will likely adopt it as her own laying space for a while. They tend to lay wherever other eggs are.
There's always been two nest areas, they just always liked to share lol, until Sprightly decided it was hers 😂

Want to check this, Sprightly had a slight limp again today, and after watching her for a while, I checked her feet again
The heels of both her feet look like this, sort of rounded, a bit of a fairly hard bump. And a small scab
Not sure if it's bumble, but since she's limping I want to check. I compared Dougie's, and hers were smooth, with quite flat heels, so I'm a little concerned about Sprightly's.

I might just be paranoid... I don't know.

Okay that was very strange but very cute.
I put an egg in the other nest box so Dougie would have a nice nest to lay in (also ensures the eggs stay clean...)

As soon as they went in, Spright went over to the egg and seemed puzzled. Then proceeded to roll it out of the nest box, towards her nest, Dougie saw this and thought "oh, we can eat it!"
She ran over trying to peck at the egg, but Sprightly rolled it under her tummy.
Not in the nest, just right there in the coop. Lol! Never seen anything like that before, it was so strange. But I think we can assume she's definitely going broody?
I couldn't take it, so I put the egg back into her nest. I'm weak.

Here it's the same they love to lay where others have laid. My chickens have plenty of nest boxes and they will stand in line waiting for the one that was picked out today to lay in. :hmm
Mine squawk at each other if they want a nesting box that's already in use... There could be 6 other boxes-that are empty- but they have to have the one with another chicken in it!
