No lol, we don't really have many snakes here
She seems free from any marks or wounds, also, so I think she just saw something through the mesh that scared her, still baffled as to what
Could have been a shadow or literally nothing. 🤷‍♀️ animals don't have logical reasoning to the extent humans do so she could be overreacting, poor girl.

Okay then hopefully the cal glu will help. was the tablet the cal citrate or cla glu? don't be afraid to give her more if she seems to really struggle. Hopefully she won't.
Calcium citrate, I just tried to give a little more but she was very suspicious of it and I'm honestly not sure if it she ate it, it's super dark out there and difficult to see without blinding her with my torch.
Still, she's no longer panting, and she's standing up and moving around a bit.
She's also drinking, and the contractions seem very mild, not sure if they're even there or if I'm imagining it at this point. She seems comfortable for now though.

It's 22:30 so I've locked up for the night...
I feel like I'm going crazy.
But all of that was so weird, she ended up full on gasping, panting with her mouth very wide open. It seems so strange :(

Yeah, Sprightly could honestly spook at her own shadow. It is a valid explanation and currently seems the most likely.
Still, I've never seen her panic that much, even when there IS a predator nearby

Well, she is okay, typical calcium deposit egg, though I will say there weren't many deposits and the shell was pretty thick. Perhaps thicker than Dougie's shells. She didn't lay in the nest, but still sat on it and left it warm and covered this morning.
I must be going crazy. I really thought something was wrong last night
