My male pekin/mallard cross is hormonal already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has started harrassing the chickens. He was a rescue and I got him a female but one isn't good enough, NOOOOO he has to try to mate with my hens. I have had him for four years now and I don't remember this starting so soon, usually March. Well out comes the dog cage and Quackers is just going to have to spend his nightime and befoe I get to the coop in the morning time in the cage. During the day the two ducks go to a fenced in area with a little pond, although the pond is frozen over now.
