One of my hens has layed one egg each day for the last 2 days, she has just started laying, Is it normal not to lay every day as there's nothing today

Yes, its normal. Most chickens don't really lay an egg every day. Some breeds lay more eggs than others too. Enjoy!!!

I have one BR that has layed everyday but one since she started laying and then 2 others that skip days all the time. Penny is a laying machine!

I had an egg Sunday and Monday, but nothing yesterday or so far today. I'm so disappointed!

The day is not over yet! I've had an egg as late as 6:30 or so,there's still time!

Please keep in mind your hens aren't machines!

In addition to the heat, new layers are not always consistent. Be patient.

so can they lay at any time of the day then? i thought they only layed in the morning!!
