My hens lay anytime between early monring until 4 - 5 pm. the cylce time for an egg is a little more than 24 hours which I think explains why laying times vary and also why once in a while they will skip a day.

Some of mine lay in the morning, 2 at around noon, and 1 or 2 that lay around 3 or 4.

I got 5 eggs today 4 from 12-3 and 1 at 6:30 pm
