I have had chickens for more than 8 years but am always having questions that will improve their lives, make mine easier, save money, or make their feed healthier and their eggs healthier so I think joining this site will really really help with all of the ways.

retired now, previously owned & worked in my landscape business for 20+ yrs. I go as organic &/or self-sustaining as I can with every aspect of my life, including my chickens. I want to move my chickens to another area (not yet built for them) and increase my numbers and looking for ideas & expertise.

I often find BYC when I do google searches for chicken related questions and have known about the site for +8 years and use ideas I find here. I decided to join the site because I am thinking it may be easier to navigate and save ideas and share my own experiences with others if they ask me any questions... I know it's an awesome site and filled with useful info!
