we hatched 3 chicks last week, 2 on wednesday and one friday.

the friday baby was having a hard time so i helped bt removing a little of the shell near where it piped. a few hours it had worked its way out of the shell. took from friday to monday before it could walk upright. then we noticed it only had two toes on each foot.

it is still getting around in the brooder, but it is still the same size as when it hatched . any suggestions to help it grow. will post photos

cant get the photo to upload
I know this is hard. Especially since your hatch was small. but this chick with 2 toes isn't ever going to be right, Best to remove it from the brooder and let it go. I know it's not what you want to hear but it's best for the bird. This is why hens lay a bunch of eggs in a sitting. Things don't always go right with all the chicks.
Regrets,
Karen
