Yes they only molted for a few weeks when they were 2 years old. We refresh their feed every few days. They have a treadle feeder and because we only have 3 hens only need to refill maybe once a week although it is checked daily. There is no dust from the feed in the bottom. No mold in feed. We thought maybe try a different brand of layer pellets on advice from the forum. We might try that and see how it goes.
