Not laying eggs

I have 21chickens 2 roosters and 19 hens all of our chickens are about 2-4 years old they used to lay over a dozen a day but about a year ago they started to lay 5-1 eggs a day I'm kinda worried we thought it was because our chickens were old so we bought new chickens but we are still getting one or two eggs a day we feed our chickens organic non GMO non SOY chicken feed and strict no corn we also feed them a lot of table scraps but no corn

Welcome to BYC! I would say that they will just lay less as they get older, but it seems like you have addressed this and have younger ones in the flock as well. Instead, it seems that you might have an egg eater in your flock that is getting to the eggs before you do! It's probably best to remove them from the flock. Good luck!

Yes, often times they will.

you also may have predators helping themselves to the eggs like snakes, etc. Do your birds free range? If so they may be laying them all around your property instead of in their coop.

Maybe they need worming . Are they on layer feed which meets their requirements for calcium, etc?

I would think as long as the feed requirements are being met all
should be functioning just fine but are these hens in a coop well
sealed of free ranging and left out at night ?????
several years ago I had a problem with hens not laying and I had
one of my grandsons go under the house with a flashlight and
check for water leaks and he came back with a egg report so
I sent him back and he wound up returning after several hours
later with a couple of large trash bags of eggs and after having
all the vent holes and openings that let under the house I was
now getting 2 dozen egg's a day and I also locked them up for
a couple of weeks to get them to get use to using the laying box's
but to each their own ............
I understand everyone has a preference so why is it you do not
feed corn und yes I understand thy can live with out it ?????
A Rooster is good for about 5 to 6 years at least but a hen is
just about used by 4 years of age are these hens now pets??
