Not laying

My 8 month old Orpington has been laying like clockwork. One a day everyday for two months. Last Tuesday she didn't lay one, Wednesday she laid two, Thursday she didn't lay and then last Friday she laid two again. She hasn't laid any since then. I'm still relatively new and not sure if I should be concerned.

Most can take a few months to regulate. It's normal.

I am also new so i have some questions, please be patient. Is she your only layer? If no, are you certain it was she who layed multiples? I had 2 ladies in the same box laying at the same time the other day - one was a blue egg layer, the other a brown. If I hadn't witnessed it, I wouldn't have believed it. I thought I had one Whiting True Blue, that layed 4 eggs in 36 hours - turns out I have 2 WTBS and they just cycled. It is taking them time to regulate due to their immaturity but they will get there.
