Not n emergency just hatched eye dull

I have a baby chick just hatched one eye is dull -the outside feather area is open. It looks like the eye itself has a plastic coating on the eye a dull look. Could this be? Could the eye have a cloud over it? Thank you for your help. It was not an easy hatch. Could some of the embryo be on it or do they have a plastic covering over their eyes that open when the lid opens?
