not plucking as well

Just did another batch of Large cornish hens. Man they grow so fast and are so easy to raise. But.......Last time i processed at 6 lbs or so. This time I let them get to 8. I have a wash tub type chicken plucker I bought. Last time it worked great. This time not so much. It seems that they just spin breast down due to the weight and I have to do a lot of hand plucking. Do you think it would help if i clipped the wings and removed feet first?

I take feet, long wing and tail feathers and neck off turkeys up to 17 lbs dressed.
Chickens I do 2 in the Yardbird plucker, they knock each other around. Up to 8 lbs dressed. Larger I took off the feet

Sometimes ya gotta hold em by the feet and hold them so that the back and wings get plucked. It's a really narrow window for scalding temperature to get it perfect. If it's not between 148-156, it becomes progressively more difficult to pluck the bird. Not to mention, sometimes some birds will just take more time/effort than others for no reason whatsoever ever.
