We have a broody hen sitting on eggs. She's been there at least a week and a half. We haven't lifted her up since the original discovery that she'd gone broody. There are eight eggs under there. She's in the chicken coop with the main population and we need to know when the chicks might hatch because we are planning a camping trip and we don't want the babies to hatch and no one there to put them in the brooder and the other chickens/rooster to kill the babies. Is there any way to know what day of development the eggs are at? Would candeling tell us? Thanks!
