I came home to this chick breathing through the hole. I will be gone for the evening and wondering if it will be okay to leave it like so. Another chick that was out under a hen the same day is already out.

I hope everything is well. Not much you can do, as chick pipped, and is still working its way out. Still growing inside shell, and getting stronger. Possibly still not absorbed the entire yolk sack.
Not all eggs develop at same time pace like a Swiss Watch. These are living things that grow in their own pace.

Had 7, but I think a hawk or some other animal took one yesterday. Down to 6.
3 mostly yellow.
1 that’s yellow and blue-ish
2 that are yellow and black

The ones with red combs are males at this age. It's a wait and see with the others since they could be females or slower developing males

They are 4 weeks this weekend, how many weeks more until I can sex
