Just to give you an idea how much Easter Eggers can vary, here are some photos of the chicks I've bred and hatched.



All Easter Eggers. I know the parentage of each chick.

Easter Eggers are not a refined breed with every unwanted trait bred out of them, so their coloring and other characteristics can vary wildly, depending on which genes the got from mommy and daddy and which won out in the final mix, Far from a bad thing really, as this genetic diversity actually makes for a hardier "breed" (yes, I know it's not a registered breed!).

Silly question but what, if anything, did the hatchery/dealer say they were?

I don't know how to make my own post, I'm new to posting. So if it isn't cool to ask about my own Easter Eggers in somebody else's post I apologize.
Anyway, I recently picked up some started pullet "amerucana" chicks (advertised that way from the private breeder/farm I got them from). All the research I did so far looks like I actually got "Easter Eggers". I just want to be able to be able to represent my flock appropriately if anybody can help. I will post a pic I found on the internet that is making me question my chicks breed and a pic of them.
