This is my first thread post and I hope I am in the correct thread... I purchased 6 pullets from Tractor Supply the third week of April. They are now 12 1/2 weeks old. The "girls" are Tetra Tints and have wonderful temperaments. These are a few of the girls.

What I am wondering is if they are all girls. There is one in particular bothering me. Here she is. The one in the center front.

I am new to chickens so any advice would be helpful. I have been unable to find many (if any) pictures of full grown Tetra Tints.

Hi and welcome to the forum---

I'm not familiar with tetra-tints, but it is possible that the one center-front is just developing faster. the tail doesn't look rooster-like and -- if you haven't heard any crowing by now---- (and you are around often enough -- I know some schedules are difficult to spend lots of times with the chickens.....) there is a good chance it is just a hen with a faster developing comb and wattles.

In the possibility that tetra-tints are an sex-linked breed.... then a little more margin of safety there..... I think I will take a google moment and come back to edit if I find anything helpful. :O)

Here's someone's blog describing tetra tints are specially bred for tractor supply:

a byc thread

And in that someone posted this link:

At any rate--they are pretty birds and should be highly productive. IT will be interesting to see what color egg you get...sounds like it should be a cream color. There is an adult in that second link. I didn't get the fact-sheet pdf but that may be of interest to you. You may also want to check in the breeds tab at the top of byc forum...don't know if they are there or not. --OH eta-- I think that the one in the center is a lot like the one in the sample page of tetra tints..... cheers--and happy chicken keeping. :O)
