Three chicks that I'm unsure about: EE, Lav Orpington, & White Orpington
The white Orpington is actually Splash. And they are all boys.
 
Oh no... I was afraid they'd all end up as cockerels. The man I bought the Orpingtons from had an all Lavender flock so when I bought the chicks I never expected one to turn out white. Guess it's even more neat to have a Splash!
 
That should produce Blues that are 'split' for Lavender, but you don't know if the Splash is split for Lavender himself. It's actually a pretty big no-no to mix the two colors. No reputable breeder ever would. While they are both based on extended black, they are caused by two very different genes.

Steve and Rocky arecockerels, but they aren't Blue.
