Hi! Do i have a male or female? i hoping for a female! 9 weeks old... breeder said barred rocks but this one looks nothing like the others.

Not a pure Barred Rock if it even is one. It has feathered legs. Can't say gender for sure, but I'm leaning toward cockerel.

Pullet

What luck!

Only 5 out of the 12 my hen sat on hatched and only 2 out of the 5 lived and they are pullets, they should be green egg layers as well.

I have 4 chckens that are ~ 6 months old now accordinng to the guy we bought them from. We got them at ~4 months old. No eggs yet. I'm fairly certain the gold and the black and gold one are hens, but the 2 with the green tailfeathers are starting to crow as of a couple of days ago. Are they roosters?

Also attached a pic of the coop I built because I'm really proud of it.
