5-1/2 weeks old and all the black ones looked the same, I picked the smallest b/bs I saw. Some friends are saying she could be a Roo...help me! Their toes and ankles are not bigger than the other and she's feathering out more quickly than the white chick as well...they are also very close to one another.

First time chicken mom here... I'm pretty confident in the sex of all of my chicks (aside from the silkies) ... and this little one. Meet Marigold.. 7 week old EE.. and my daughter's baby... of course! :( This bird feathered out quickly like the others, but grew bigger faster, and with much longer legs. (although this bird has long legs, it stays pretty compact and horizontal) I've had my doubts of his/her sex early on, but wasn't sure. I really can't see the tell tale 3rd row comb, but the tail feathers aren't rounded and defined like my other EE, and she's starting to get some mahogany colored feathers starting on her back, and the sides of her neck, close to her chest. Would love some opinions that are more educated than mine. Also, is there a name for the color of this bird?... we just call her grey. thanks bunches!

I Purchased chicks at Tractor supply couldn't pass them up. Not sure what breeds or sex they are. I got the March 24th. Above I have two of these that looks the same got them the same time but they are a lot bigger then ones below. Not sure I got pictures of both of them they really look a like Any help with bread and sex would be greatly appreciated..
The big red ones are a variety of red sex link and the striped ones probably barred rocks and the white little one with leg feathers is a light brahma bantam and the speckled golden little ones are Mille fleur d'ulce bantams and ... The brown one does it have feather legs?

She's an Easter egger and they don't really have colors that are specific or too specific she's pretty and gray and likely a pullet they're a mix breed so there's a lot of variation and some are tall and some short and so on. No guarantees but nothing glaring yet
