I have a bantam that is about 6 weeks old. I'm not sure what breed it is and today I noticed what look like spur buds already. Help!!.![]()

How old? It looks like a RIR pullet, I'll need a better picture to be sure but it looks like it doesn't have hackle feathers/saddle feathers, or an over large comb.
#1 I'm thinking mix not sure on gender thoughWell every few weeks the opinion seems to change on if these 6 are pullets or cockerels. Obviously some have quite large combs, but I understand that large combs doesn't necessarily equal rooster. All of the breeds are unknown too. The black one was bought as a black sex link. When the barring showed up we thought it was a roo, but a friend with more experience says barred rock hen.
