this little one turned 4 weeks old today! Speckled Sussex roo x Production Red hen
My guess is roo but it's nice to have opinions from more experienced people!

I see what looks like dark red feathers coming in on the wings. With EEs, that means cockerel. Probably the same for your chick.

Too young to sex. As for breed, what kind of comb do they have? Brahmas have pea combs (see the post above) and Cochins have single combs.

We bought 2 Austrolorp and 2 Wyandotte pullets? from a local feed store in early May. Based on supposed age at purchase they should be about 10 weeks now. Worried that I may have roos in the bunch. What do you guys think?

Definitely can't have any roos, so would like to try to figure it out now if I can. Sorry about the sideways pics, couldn't get them to rotate no matter what I did.
