Sugar and ground up meal worms all the consistency of flour mixed with water. I'm keeping a good eye on everything else so she doesn't get backed up

Thank you! The comb has already started turning pink - the light wasn't as good as I'd have liked.

Yes, Stella does have a lot more gold. Hers came up pretty fast and suddenly. I suspect it's not a very exact science with the chipmunk coloring. She's about a week or ten days older than Ollie. Her hatch date was June 8, I believe. It would be fun to be EE moms together and compare them as we go!

If, like some have guessed, my Iowa Blue is a rooster, should I just stick with two hens or would they want more birds in the flock? I guess I'm asking if two chickens alone would be happy. I am so anxious that I might have to give away one of my chickens.

They're happier in groups but two should be fine
