This guy I'm pretty confident is a Roo

#1 is a pullet.

#2 I'm inclined to lean toward cockerel, but I wouldn't say 100% yet - the comb is small and light enough that it could be a masculine hen, especially given that it's a Silkie mix.

I have some silkie chicks that I got on October 10th they are growing a lot but don't look like other breeds at 10 weeks wasn't sure about the difference in breeds any help on gender or age is very much appreciated. The flock picture is from Tuesday and the single pictures are from November 24th

is there a way to stop it?

I agree with the info below. :) Our feather picking problem was due to overcrowding, despite the coop builder saying the coop could hold many more chickens than what we had. Once a bird starts feather picking the whole flock takes after them and starts feather picking too. Hopefully your friend can figure it out! :)
At the age that her birds are, she would know if there was a rooster in the flock.

Feather picking, if related to a protein deficiency, is easily remedied by switching to a higher protein feed. If it's due to overcrowding stress, it's an entirely different beast altogether. Feather picking, induced by overcrowding, is very difficult to stop, even when the birds are eventually given ample space.

I don't have any Silkies, so I'm much less than perfect at sexing them, but I'll take a guess at a couple. :) I'm guessing the bird pictured in the fourth picture is a cockerel due to the large comb. And I'm going to say the bird in the last picture is a pullet since there's barely any comb/wattle development. Hope this helps! :)

Pretty sure that only the last Buff is a female. The others have quite a lot of visible comb, which usually means cockerel.

I wasn't sure if the rest besides the 1st buff were hens or cockerels because how much more developed he is then the rest he is also the smallest of the group.

Not sure about there genders I got some new pictures will get better quality one tomorrow. There's five chickens the two buffs, two whites, and a black.
