Too young. Needs to be completely feathered to try and guess breed.

Comb color and crowing.

And if it came from a farm where they have a bunch of chickens of assorted varieties running around, it isn't a breed at all, it's a barnyard mix.

Looks like it could be an americana to me.

No bearding, wrong leg color, wrong plumage coloring.

9 week old buff Orpington. I'm thinking cockerell, comb is bigger but not much more pink than the others and I know some can have faster comb growth...

Cockerel. Orpingtons are not, generally, a fast maturing breed. Also notice that darker shade of buff coming in on the shoulder/wing area.

I never noticed that. Thanks, I had my suspicions. And my kids call him ducky because his chirp has always been a bit different than everyone else's. Better side view.. Can see the color difference better. Thanks for the info!
