Thank you, was told they're BA,but they are such sweet chickens but I don't see being able to have pretty much 6 roosters.....



Out of curiosity when do the roos crow and pullets lay eggs? From what I've seen it's 18-20 weeks? Trying to hang on to them all until they either crow or lay an egg lol

Highly variable. There are​ cockerels that start crowing attempts before they're fully feathered and others that are quiet until 6+ months. They usually mature before the pullets do, though, and I expect the average is somewhere in the 3-4 month timeframe. Egg laying commences in the 4-8 month timeframe (even later for some).
