Yes that looks like a white leghorn but I don't see the salmon coloring you mentioned. How old?
7 weeks and it's wings are changing colorsYes that looks like a white leghorn but I don't see the salmon coloring you mentioned. How old?
The first is a silver laced, chicken 3 looks like an australop to me? Mine is the same age and looks almost identical. Chicken 5 looks like a barred Rock. I believe yellow legs are a barred rock, Marans are pale.
Comb is still pale, and I think you'd see some solid dark red wing bow feathers coming in on a cockerel by now. I have never raised up a male Wyandotte, though, so not sure how quickly that comes in. Unless something changes drastically in the next couple of weeks, I think it's a pullet.7.5 week old gold lace Wyandotte (bantam). Feathered in quickly but the comb and wattles are making me think it's male. There are also some different coloured feathers coming through on the back but they are not pointy:View attachment 552576 View attachment 552578
Smallish pale comb at 8 wks... probably a pullet.View attachment 552591 View attachment 552592 View attachment 552593 View attachment 552594
8 week old EE. Stands out as the top of the pecking order, is always the first to investigate anything new in the run.
I had a lavender orp and it matured very slowly. Your second one is probably a pullet compared to the first (and shaped like a pullet), but the first might also be a pullet (no full body pic). Or they both might be cockerels... I'm not helping, am I? I was unsure of the one I had at 10 weeks! Second one is probably a pullet.I have 2 lavender orpington's at 8 weeks. Suspect first one is a roo and the 2nd pic is of the female. Would anyone agree, am I right about this guess?
