Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Have this 4 week old olive egger chick I got to keep my single hatched Barnevelder chick company

If the olive egger is a girl I have a home wanting it (they are buying a Cream Legbar chick from me)

Apparently I stink at sexing pea comb chicks

It had full wing feathers very very very early
And tailed out fast too
Looks like it only has one row of peas to me which would make it s girl but I really have no clue

Thoughts?

I know it's hard to wait, but because EEs are a mix, there are more traits that blend together to make sexing a little harder than other birds. Also at 4 weeks they're a little too young to sex with much accuracy. At the moment, there are no male traits. That's good. However, all chicks look female..... until they don't.

This one looks like an early bloomer - male. The others are either pullets or too young to sex.

Thanks was hoping that one was a roo just because how beautiful it turned out. Hopefully the rest are pullets so i can have plenty of eggs. If another end up beign a roo ill most likely sell/trade for a hen.

5 and 6 are Easter Eggers. Too young to guess gender for most of them. 6 is the only obvious cockerel at this point. 2 is the only certain pullet, due to being a sexlink.
