Any thoughts on these 2? They are mixed breeds and 7 weeks old.

Interesting feathering. I'm guessing pullets.

The Mottled Java has what looks like irredecant feathers and little nubs where spurs would be...can hens have that too? I sure hope so cause "she" is a sweetheart!

Are they 24 hours old? I need you to splay their wing feathers out like you're doing accept get closer if possible if they're under 24 hours then just wait and let me know, but it's a small window when it's most accurate so timing is everything are there 4 birds?

So I tried to get a better pic. No way I can stay up late enough for her to turn 24 hrs! Lol! I did a little research and it seems that if the feathers on the bottom of the wing are longer than the feathers on the top it's female. If the feathers on bottom are the same length or shorter, it's male. By that logic, it looks like I have a female. Thoughts?

Speckled Sussex, I'm thinking pullet, what's your opinion? My biggest chick, also curious as to guesses on age?
