I think this is a barred rock mix but I'm not sure about his gender. Does anyone know?

looks like a Barred Cochin cockerel.
ok, so I'm new to the chicken world and I'm new to this site. I am a first time owner of silkies, which I am really growing to LOVE. However, I am having some trouble sexing them. I have 2 (as of now) 1 white, 1 blue. I thought for a while that the white was a male and the blue was a female but recently I'm beginning to think the opposite. I'm driving myself crazy lol, any help or thoughts would be truly helpful!! thanks!!! The pics included were taken yesterday while I had them outside enjoying some sunshine while we work on their coop.

That's a Barred Cochin, and he is not mixed. With that light barring, he is purebred, and most certainly a cockerel.
