Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Hello, We acquired two black Australorp chicks on April 15th. They are sweet birds and have meshed well with our two 5 year old buff Orpington hens. They are 14 weeks old today and one of them has a deeper voice and has made a suspiciously "crowing" like sound twice now. We are not allowed to have roosters where we live. Would anyone mind offering a guess on the gender of one or both of these? Thank you! May 14 Dahlia and Juniper July 9 Dahlia & Juniper Jul 18 Dahlia July 20 Dahlia and Juniper July 20 June 18 May 28
Can you get a closer pic of their backs down by their tail feathers and the back of their necks necks?

At 14 weeks old, both are definitely male.

Arrgghh. Are you basing your determination on size/color of comb/wattles? Feathers? All of the above? I guess we thought maybe Australorps had bigger combs/wattles anyway.

All these are EE, sorry again for the pics. I cant get real close to them at the moment, sorry for the pic quality. I have a division separating these from some younger chicks.

This is PRANCER, all are about 7 weeks old.
