Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

I've 2 light brahmas, about 9 weeks old. One has been feathering much more slowly with more black, has a wonky tail, and brighter pink comb/facial coloring. I'm terrible at photography, so included several.

Eglantine (or Soren, if a cockerel)

Chloe, on left, I am very sure is a pullet, but I thought a side by side would be good for comparison.

Top view of Eggy(pullet or cockerel) and Cloe.

Eglantine looks like a Soren

Re gender behavior, two of the 9 1/2week chicks I posted yesterday for gender I.d. just hada "play fight,". Is it only makes that do the puffing up of the neck feathers and sort of leap frog jumping over each other? I've seen adult food do it, .

That sort of behavior is pecking order related, and has nothing to do with gender.

I think I am going to put Lawrence on Craig's list. He is being kind a poop to my orpingtons that outweigh him.. Like a little guy with a big chip on his shoulder... we just can't eat him..

Lawrence is the brunette in the middle :)
anyone want him?

I hope I load pics rright. It's the 1st time I'm trying from my phone.
These 4 are 9 weeks and 3 days old.

White is Sparky. All black is Dulce. Black with large gold hackle is Hazel. Black with smaller gold hackle is Mabel.
Am I in trouble with those names?
Sparky is definitely a cockerel. Dulce and Mabel are pullets for sure. Hazel might be a cockerel.

thanks for asking I am really torn.. about what to do..
I have 8 hens... 4 orpingtons 2 austrolorpes 1 ee and 1 silkie the two kids that turned out to be roos are silkies.. and I thought well, silkies are sweet and won't be aggressive.. but the two roos are facing off a lot.. and Lawrence is being aggressive towards the ladies.. Crowing etc. no problem where we live..

I might add there are different ages and sizes.. Lawrence (my for sure roo) takes after the largest orpington who has been the HBIC till Lawrence discovered he could crow and got all grumpy.
MY husband thinks we should re-home him.. seems like that is the advice..

opinions welcome... .. not a fan of culling him...
