I agree that the lighter one looks like a male by the feather color. The other darker one looks more like a typical female.

Thankyou I got some better photo of faces they are so quick.
no1 has turned quite red in the last 2weeks & has got small red waddles.
No2 was more a yellow/peach colour but has recently turned quite pink so was worried was another Roo.

Looks like a pair to me. The black/white coloring seems to make the pink really pop but she looks very feminine to me.

I'm just drooling over the barring. We see so many pics of hatchery "barring" that's really cuckoo patterning rather than barring. Seeing the real deal becomes a treat.

Andalusian Chickens meant to be pullets but turns out they are Roos.
One makes a great Cock-a-diddle-Doo very clear each morning and the other goes next with a horrible squark sound trying to do the same.

Do I have any hope for second one being female they are nearly 12weeks old.
I'm hoping for a miracle can't keep 3 Roos.

Definitely a cockerel. Male color pattern developing plus big, red pea comb.

I know Andalusian hens have big combs but that's a whopper for only 12 weeks! And the ears! Plus a squeaky gate sound answering the crow? Not much chance at all, no.

Updated pictures. I still can't figure out these chicks at 6 weeks. One is definitely cockerel and the rest I don't know.
1) EE-pretty sure cockerel-adding picture for comparison to siblings
2) EE-pea comb single line raised but pinkish
3) EE-pea comb with single line raised but getting red, no tail feathers AT ALL, half the size of the others, and I'm guessing cockerel
