I recently got 4 peafowl and they have all started to get green on front of their neck some more than others. I do not know how old they are I did ask and the guy said he not to sure although he did breed them maybe he has just forgotten as he had so much poultry. I think they are indian. Does anyone have an idea from my shots on how old they may be, sex and that they are the indian breed? thanks ahead![IMG]

Hello and [IMG]!!! (well to the peafowl corner, anyways...)

It looks like you have 4 girls there but you'll probably need to post more pictures to get an accurate opinion! And they do look like IB (Indian Blue), but again, better pictures would help.
And besides, we really like pictures here!!

Are the pics I just put on any more helpful? I am so hoping a boy is in the mix. Do the boys sound different this young? I do know one NO 3 seems bigger and is definitely stronger.

I agree number 3 looks male. It still has barring on the flight feathers and the other 3 don't. As he gets older he will get more and more bars on him and the hens will loose all the barring.
