Not sure on gender of this 3 month old Faverolle

Its the leg length that is throwing me off. His coloring as indicated male from the hatch but I noticed that his leg length is identical to his sister's. Im used to males having a much longer leg length and have used this characteristic to guess the sex of young chicks before they actually show their true sex. Any ideas?

They make a cute couple so that is what I have planning for since they hatched. It is his leg length and that speckling that is throwing me off. Ive never seen such in any pics of Faverolles that I have viewed.
