Not sure what happened.... First hatch

I would leave it all until after day 21.  It's hard, but it's too soon to panic and start opening the bator.

I have to add water to the sponge at least once a day but temp and humidity pip back within a few minutes... I will set an alarm to check humidity at 3 am ..

And I am going to buy a thin line so I can add water without opening the gator for my third hatch.

Maybe you can help with my next question... Second hatch bator was perfect temp but humidity was around 35-45 because that's what I was told (borrowed equipment) on day 18 I increased humidity to 75%... All was going great.. Checked it several times before bed... Woke up Saturday to 35% Humidity

..... Got it back up quickly but I'm so worried the drop killed them or suffocated them. Since then I've kept them at 99.5 and 70-80%... Today is day 20... No peeps, no pips

Was hoping second hatch would have better results... I am tempted to candle/float them. Or should I just wait and see?

I'm so anxious... I didn't think it would be this hard.... Waiting is the worst but I have read so much and thought I had a better handle on this hatch I thought for sure I would hear peeping by now

If there were no pips, a change in humidity for a few hours won't hurt anything.

X 2. Wait until after day 21 before you candle for movement. How did your air cells look at lockdown?

A tube for adding water is a really good idea, and can be really helpful. Let us know how this hatch goes!

Crossing fingers... Question is.. If air cell is too small Does that mean my humidity wass too high or too low on days 1-18?

Air cells develop with moisture loss. So if your air cells are small your humidity may have been too high. They may not be small though; I recommend a second opinion!

Air cells are small, but I have hatched with them that size on day 18, I would run dry until you see the first pip then add water. The air cell will get larger after lock down and draw down on on side.

Oh dang...really... Today is day 21 and since day 19 they have been at 75% because someone suggested that my humidity was too low...

Should I take the sponge and water out??
