Not sure what to do with baby duck ?! Help

He pushed himself out of his egg and he’s been like this for 4-5hours and I don’t know if I should help him but cutting it or what I just scared to kill him I read some things online I just need to know if it will shrink or detach on it’s own

Just leave it be for now. It will eventually dry and shrivel up at which point you can cut it.

That's the umbilical cord still attached to the yolk sac ... Don't cut until you hear from one of the above or .... @Pyxis @oldhenlikesdogs @WVduckchick
