Birds have been drinking water without ACV for thousands and thousands of years. Mine drink water because they are thirsty. Again, dont be mislead that ACV will prevent worms. I've been raising chickens only since yesterday.

Again, I am NOT saying that ACV is what MAKES birds drink. I am just saying that they may prefer water laced with ACV over regular water. Look it up already.

ALSO I am not saying that it "prevents worms". I'm only saying that it HELPS CONTROL them, and yes, they will probably need to be wormed anyways.

I do not wish to hear from you again, Mr. "I think I'm great just cuz I have a motorcycle". Wow. So insecure.
Wow,attitude adjustment please! Dawg53 gives excellent and trusted advice. Without the help of those on this forum that have years of experience, many birds would be dead. Be careful, you may need his help someday.

Subject at hand -

Worldrob, I'm sorry for your loss! Maybe she just got too wet and chilled. Hopefully your other hens will do fine.

Apple cider vinegar with the "mother" is a good additive to put in water if you use plastic waterers. It helps keep good flora in the gut which helps with immunity. I use it once a month or so.

Good luck!
