What is he supposed to be? If he's supposed to be a New Hampshire Red, I'd say he probably isn't the BEST bred ever, but likely purebred. If Rhode Island Red, I'd say again, likely not the best bred ( much too light a colour - Rhodies are supposed to be a dark mahogany, not orange-red ), but arguably purebred.

I don't think this roo is pure anything. He's too light bodied and the comb is too large, the color is uneven and the set of the tail is kind of wonky. He looks to me like a heavy breed mixed with leghorn or something else lighter.

sorry i rushed.. he was being gave away so i took him in before they dropped him off somewhere like the guy said he was gonna do but he is safe now at my acereage with the rir flock.. i just want to know what he is cause i never ever seen one like him or that soft color
