Not too bad updates on pg. 2

Thank goodness I have no babies scheduled to hatch tomorrow since we are having chicken pot pie for Christmas dinner.

No kidding!!!

Chicken Pot Pie sounds delightful...

Yes, we wanted a change from turkey (had that at Thanksgiving) or the other white meat - ham. Wife makes an altered version of Paula Dean's chicken pot pie that is so good. Wife has also made up some artichoke dip and other goodies for snacking tomorrow. Today she was baking some sugar cookies with almond extract in them. The house smelled devine. Holidays are a great excuse to eat decadent foods. Next is New Year's and I'm hoping for collards, peas, and rice - maybe even some barbecued pork. Well, time for bed and for letting sugar plums dance through my head.

Wow! When one starts they all follow! 30 minutes ago all we had were two pips, now we have 2 babies, a zip and two pips! The first baby to hatch was out in 20 minutes flat! I think he set a new record

Its is going to be a tough night to sleep with the bator in my room and the chicks partying all night!

Okay, we have 4 babies, 2 pips, a rocking/peeping egg and one baby who I helped out of the shell but it was already dead

O well, 4 babies and at least 3 more on the way

I can't wait to see them tomorrow and take care of them while your gone! And I hope we get a splash this time! I'll take loads of pictures for all our BYC friends and post them up by tomorrow night, hopefully!

Awww! Can you tell what colors yet? The red light throws me off.

I had the same hatch rate as you from Sassy Silkie eggs --- a big fat -0- (none of my doz even started developing). Jen offered to replace my eggs for postage, but I guess she's waiting til the Christmas rush is over

I bet if you contact her, she'd replace your eggs too.
