Not what I thought?

So... I am new to having Barred Plymouth Rocks. I have had chickens for a number or years, but this year decided to venture out into the heritage breeds.

About 2 weeks ago, I picked up some chicks. I was after some BR's, however the breeder also had some White Chanteclers. I though, excellent and bonus!

All the chicks were between 1 day and 1 week old.

It is now nearing 2 weeks later and my BR's, are showing barring on their wings, as expected, however I have two chicks that... aren't. They are very dark dark black. I have called the breeder and he stated that it is possible that I accidentally got 2 Black Australorps.

I have taken some pics. They only white on these little ones.. is the edge of the wings (underneath and the outermost wing feather)

What do YOU think? lol

This bird looks like a Blue something to me. Maybe an Orpington or Andalusian.

So now we are a day or two over 4 weeks.. and what I thought was a male, I am not sure it is fully yet. Some picks of 'him'.

The second smaller chick, which I figured was a girl. I wish the pics would show how dark they are. They are Jet Black. Even though thee pics make them look grey/blue.
