I know this isn't a chicken, but could really do with some help, I'm from the UK and i found a baby bird half way out it's egg on a wall, I looked around for a nest and couldn't see one, I picked it up and brought her home, and placed her in my empty brooder to keep warm, I read to feed it soaked dog biscuits so I have, as well as chick crumbs as a paste. She's eating fine but I can't do it every 15 minutes as told, I don't have time, I was thinking of ringing up a wildlife rehabilitation centre, but there isn't one close to us, but I also don't know if they take in baby house sparrows this young, my other half said I'm stupid for even bringing it home, but I couldn't leave it there! After shed been under heat she became more wiggly and wanted food, I've been feeding her every 15 minutes for about 6 hours now, she active, so I have high hopes
Does anyone know if they take in house sparrows this young? What to do?
She's smaller than a 10p, I tried to make somewhere comfy...

Just keep on feeding it! I raise pigeons and I never heard of feeding them every 15 min.

Yeah, I think so too! It's a robin! Maybe you won't have to feed it as much, because it's a Robin.

Typically you aren't supposed to touch baby birds because if the mother is nearby and the baby has just fallen she will come back and get him. If the mother kicked the baby out on purpose it's because she thinks the baby is sickly or won't make it. But I'm with you, I don't think I could have just left it there either.

Thank you everyone, it was in a greenish egg when I found it lying there on a wall, there was no trees or bushes around, it was so cold do I had to bring it home. I do animal management at college so I have a rough idea now I've spoke to my wildlife lecturer, I bought it some live mealworms and used chick paste, as well as egg yolk, I do not have time to feed it every 15 minute and it's not always hungry, and no way does the mum bird feed 4 baby's every 15 mins, so every so often I check on her, she's got a full stomach, also she's started getting black dots on her tiny wings? X

That's awesome. It sounds like she's probably getting some fuzz in! It means you're probably doing a good job feeding and keeping it warm!
