I know how you feel!! I raised a loner chick from about 2 days old so it thought I was its moma and buddy. She CONSTANTLY wanted me to hold her and walk around with her.
Whenever I would leave the room she was in she would peep and peep until I came back. It took a few weeks in with her little rooster (Paislee) to get her to know she was a chicken. But she still to this day runs back and forth up the run peeping for me to let her so she can ride on my shoulder.
Sometimes it makes me feel good other times I need a break!!
