November 15th Quilt Swap

Oh wow Rustyhen that would be a wonderful quilt to have, will look for the original block pattern to post, it was easy so all experience levels could join.

We have a wide variety of quilting cotton in local area themes. I'd love to do a travel quilt at some point, not so much about the pattern but focusing on the lush pictures printed on the fabric.

I have a 40 year old name quilt made by my grandmother. It is just white blocks with the name embroidered in the center, a couple inches big. All the different 'fonts' in the handwriting are beautiful.

I think those are called signature blocks or album blocks

Thanks Kassaundra that is probably why I couldn't find the block I was thinking of. If we do this one wow what memories we will have.

rockingbearranch, since I live about 12 mile from where they hold the Pendelton round-up, I bet a lot of the fabric would be nearly the same even though we are at different end's of the U.S.

I have quailtrail's blocks!!!!! only one set to go and if it comes in early enough I will ship tomorrow other wise it will be friday/sat.

I laid out my blocks and I'm so glad I signed up for two sets on this swap everyone's blocks are just beautiful. I'd post a pic but can't spoil the surprise for everyone, still waiting on the mailman to run here so hopefully the last set will arrive today.
